Although I'm young I have experience in teaching children. I worked at a christian holiday club teaching children aged 10-11 about the bible through games.
I also work (currently) as an assistant Beaver Leader for the scouts, therefore I've completed every safeguarding, learning, games, and program planning module the scouts has to offer Young Leaders.
I'm predicted all nines (A*) for my GCSEs (in maths, english, science, and IT)and although I never did my SATs because of COVID, I scored top of my school in the CATs exam.
I tutored my siblings and cousins through their 11+ and they're all in or planning to go to grammar schools.
I understand I'm a teenager so therefore I may not be your first option, so for that ignore the price on my page. The real cost is £6.50 an hour.
I do after-school tuition either in your home or online. I teach students from the age of 5-11, everything from basic phonics and spelling to SATs and the 11+.
If your child is falling behind in school I can help them thrive. I'm a hard worker, I believe with just some patience and elbow grease any grades are possible.
My lessons are personalised and fun, my experience has taught me the best way to learn is to be constantly engaged. Through games and competitions. There's no point chucking flashcards at a kid because he wont remember it, but a memory game? Might work.
Children are competitive and it's my job to focus that energy on what's productive.
