Charlie Beauchamp

I am an undergraduate for the university of Cambridge studying economics. I aim to help pass on skills gained from my experience to students to allow them to reach their potential while also making every lesson enjoyable. My aim is to finish the lesson with students both more knowledgeable about the subject and with an increase in their interest and curiosity.

All lessons will be adapted to the students need. As they are the main focus, I will ensure I listen and learn about the method to suit them best. I will research and plan all lessons in advance, providing material I believe may be useful or studying any work students have asked to go over in advance.

Lessons can range from maths to economics to UK university admissions processes. They may include preparing for GCSEs and A-levels, participating in essay competitions and offering general advice. For my own A-levels, I was able to achieve an A* in both these fields (including further mathematics), and confidently believe all students who study hard can expect similar results.

I have a variety of prior tutoring experiences, including teaching English as a foreign language, mentoring primary school students and helping secondary school students prepare for university admissions. These experiences have been very fulfilling and have also enhanced my own skills, allowing me to communicate more effectively and think more critically. I hope I can continue these experiences as part of the FindTutors team, from which I can help make a positive difference.
