I am a law graduate with experience of tutoring for almost two decades. I tutored during my undergraduate and masters degree programmes. I have also been teaching law online for a few years before getting my teaching qualifications. In the past five years, I have taught Btec, HNC, A' level and undergraduate law students.
My approach to the subject is to demystify what some learners may consider to be complex concepts to understand and apply by making such concepts relatable to their daily existence. This way, it comes naturally to the learners to memorise, recall, and apply to contexts being presented to them.
My philosophy with the teaching and learning process is that learners need someone who can break complex concepts to them as if one is talking to a 6 year old child about how to ride a bicycle and why sometimes the extra support wheels are necessary before the child can ride bikes without the extra support wheels.
I am very passionate about the dynamics different legal systems present and try as much as possible to draw lessons from different jurisdictions on different areas of law and subject matters to enrich my knowledge, versatility, appreciation of different schools of thought on what law should and what it is, and also, how to get my learners to think beyond their immediate environment as the world is a global village and systems interact daily in order to share experiences and best practices especially as it relates to commerce, crime, and trade
