Charles Campbell

I have my own materials that are fun and interactive. I can tailor any lesson to the needs of my students and since I have taught across many ages and curriculums, I can draw on many years of experience. I am definitely not textbook bound and I like to experiment with new methods. I bring a lot of humor and laughter into my lessons, and try and find the lighter side to life always.

As an examiner for Cambridge and the International Baccalaureate, I know hoe to coach my students to perform well. I am also an ILETS examiner, and have managed to raise my students' level to the band score they need. I am passionate and energetic and this filters into my lessons.

Teaching online doesn't have to be stale or boring. I use a plethora of visual aids, movie clips, YouTube videos, music and a host of other audio visual aides. I believe in the connection between a teacher and a student being paramount to success, that relationship needs to be based on trust and effective communication. As a World traveller I have met and taught people from around the globe and I love having diversity in my classrooms. I also believe that teaching is more than just delivering knowledge or skills; but teachers have a responsibility to impart their beliefs in social justice and ethics.

I am a family man with a wife and two small boys and a cute dog named D'Arcy, she also accompanies me to some of my online lessons.
