I am a certified public accountant with teaching experience in the following areas;
1. Introduction to Financial Accounting (topics covered: preparation of journals, ledger accounts, trial balance, cash book preparation, bank reconciliation statements, petty cash book preparation, control accounts, errors and suspense account and financial statements of sole trader, partnership and company.
2. Financial accounting level 2. Areas covered here are; International Accounting standards and concepts, Preparation of financial statements with incomplete records, Partnership business with admission or retirement of a partner, company accounts, ratio analysis, preparation of financial statements of no-profit making companies, manufacturing accounts and cashflow statements. The teaching is as per the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAPs) i.e. IFRS & IAS
3. Auditing and Assurance - I will teach various aspects in auditing as per the International Standards on Auditing (ISA). Lessons are divided into two parts i.e. principles of auditing and auditing and assurance for advance level
Lessons will have oral and practical presentations as per need of the student.
I also undertake assignments for the university students after having a mutual agreement on payments with the student.
Students can also buy study materials which have been simplified with examples of answered questions
Timings for lessons are flexible. It heavily depends on the availability of the student.
