I offer classes in :

Business English
Examinations for English proficiency including TOEIC, EIKEN and IELTS
Free open discussion on a very wide range of topics such as current affairs, sports, economics and others
Writing for blogs, podcasts and social media platforms

My teaching style is based on the student's preferred learning style

I always emphasize the STRENGTHS of my students and help them gradually hurdle language difficulties and achieve their goals
I have formal teacher training (Post Graduate Certificate of Education - PGCE)
I am currently an ESL teacher on other online platforms and have a great deal of experience in online teaching.
I have also taught English, economics and ICT in college and prisons in the UK

Although I am a British citizen, I now reside in Kenya since I retired from my career as an IT Project manager in the investment banking sector.

I am very widely travelled and for my hobbies I enjoy learning how to play the acoustic guitar and harmonica. I also played golf to a good standard (Handicap 9) when younger.

I have lived all over England from Coventry in the west midlands, Northwich in the north west, Bournemouth on the Dorset coast, Bury st Edmunds in Suffolk and Thetford in Norfolk.

My life experiences are many and varied and consequently I bring a wealth of topics from which to draw upon in my English teaching. Clearly, this is to my student's benefit.
