Experience:
I am an experienced KS2 and 11 plus tutor. I Haved worked in a variety of KS2 schools over the last 2 years acquiring an excellent knowledge of the curriculum. Additionally, I have experience in tutoring students who are taking 11plus exams in the four core areas, English, Maths, verbal and non-verbal. Doing this I have worked on a 1 to 1 basis, in small groups, and even took part in concept days with over 60 students. I tutor a variety of different students coming from different backgrounds making me an understanding, versatile and confident KS2 tutor.

My approach:
I usually take a holisitc approach to teaching. I aim to be conversational and relaxed as i believe it creates the best learning outcomes outside of mainstream school - however my lessons are extremely versatile, depending on students needs and apsirations.
The lessons typically consist of two hours, covering both English and Maths. We generally cover a range of different yet challenging topics. The majority of my sessions take a differentiated trajectory to reinforce positivity and increase confidence in my students.

Resources:
I usually personalise each session to meet individual needs. Therefore, I use a variety of resources from different educational platforms e.g textbooks ( rising stars, bond 11plus and CPG) online resources (Twinkl, Corbat, and Oxford owl) and past-papers.


My academic background:
I am currently partaking in the last yeat of study for my English degree, where i am expected to achieve 1:1. Additionally, I have an A-level in Maths, English and Religious studies.
