For GCSE and A Level students, I aim to help develop the quality of your sketchbooks, as well as helping you create work/ designs that are more experimental and pull your work up in levels. A great way to produce way that is more than just a task for school, but rather a portfolio you can continue to develop over time and take with you to interviews, meetings, etc.
For students not sitting any exam qualifications, my sessions will be great for picking up new creative skills, driving you to be more experimental and free within your art. A great way to destress, using colour and different media effectively.
I will show you many different techniques and set you a number of tasks and projects, where you can put those techniques to use. That way you can discover which area of art truly peaks your interests, showcases your talents and skills. Art is so broad, you may not have even truly discovered the things in art you a great at.
Hopefully, you will enjoy using acrylic paints, water colours, printing inks, wool, fabric, sewing and embroidery needles, crochet hooks, oil pastels and much more. I don’t believe you can be an amazing artist or designer, until you have explored a wide variety of media and techniques.
Everything I will introduce to you I can adapt to your level/ skill set, but also show you ways to develop and improve. I care more for your artistic passion than your art grades at school. If you have a passion for the subject, you can benefit greatly from my sessions.
