Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Guitta Chahoud. I have more than twenty years of experience as an Arabic Language specialist, holding jobs as an educator, coordinator and librarian, working with students of all ages, K-12 in schools, in addition to adults at the technical school, where I was able to implement personal learning and development.
During my last job at the technical school, I worked with Syrian refugees as well as students that come from underprivileged areas in Lebanon. I have researched and prepared lesson plans to fit the needs of every individual, taking into consideration their economic and social backgrounds, especially those coming from areas of disaster and conflict. Such experience has provided me with the understanding and experience of demonstrating different aspects of learning as well as teaching based on the understanding and intellectual abilities of my students.
Throughout my career, specifically the last six years as coordinator, I have worked closely with a team of six educators on selecting key learning contents and about their teaching strategies using audiovisual material and plans for the academic years. Such responsibilities have equipped me with the skills necessary to implement the strategies required for the Arabic UX- Audiovisual Officer to work with and assist MSF employees in reaching their teaching goals.
Having great interest in regional development issues in addition to my unique skill set make me a perfect fit as a member of Medecins Sans Frontieres team. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Guitta Chahoud
