My teaching approach is centered around making complex concepts accessible and engaging for students. With a background in biotech research during my undergraduate studies, I developed strong skills in presenting intricate ideas clearly. I use a variety of teaching methods, including flowcharts, diagrams, and figures, to visually simplify difficult topics. By breaking down information step-by-step, I ensure that each student can grasp the subject matter at their own pace.
Storytelling and real-life examples are key elements of my lessons. I find that relating abstract ideas to everyday experiences helps students connect more deeply with the material. This method is particularly effective in subjects like biology and public health, where real-world applications are crucial for understanding.
I have hands-on experience working with children up to the age of 16 through various NGO projects, where I taught topics like basic biology, life skills, hygiene practices, and general knowledge. This experience has not only honed my communication skills but also taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different age groups and learning needs.
Currently, I am pursuing a master’s in Public Health, which has further strengthened my understanding of infectious diseases, public health issues, and medical concepts.
