Celina Sanabria

Hi there!

I am a Chevening Scholar pursuing a master's degree in Education and Technology at the University College London. I hold an undergraduate degree in English language, and I have been working as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher for more than 7 years, delivering in-person and virtual classes. During this time, I have worked with learners of various ages and proficiency levels. I have taught in schools, universities, and language institutes, designing and implementing English language programs. I have also been delivering private lessons online since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. My expertise includes preparing students for job interviews, scholarships, and international exams, such as the TOEFL.

I utilize a student-centered approach to create lessons that are personalized, engaging, and effective. I believe in adapting to the unique needs and goals of each learner, making the learning experience enjoyable and meaningful. As someone passionate about education and technology, I integrate digital tools and multimedia resources into my teaching to make lessons dynamic and engaging. I also include online resources for my students to practice during the week in order to consolidate their knowledge.

I believe that learning English is much more than acquiring a language—it is a gateway to opportunities, cultural exchange, and personal growth. I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
