My name is Cecilia and I have 25 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking working at the main banks in my country. This has allowed me to acquire a broad vocabulary in Spanish, related to banking, finance and business in the corporate world and companies of different economic sectors.

Part of my job included permanent oral and written communication with clients and amongst the organization, as well as performing business presentations weekly, in front of the CEO and the Vicepresidents.

Therefore, I decided to certify myself as a Spanish Teacher, focusing mainly in professional and business aspects, to help people that are interested in working in Spanish speaking countries, both in America and Europe. This way I will help them prepare so they can comunicate correctly and eficiently through written and oral conversation.

This being said, I want to inform you that my services will help you improve how fluent you are speaking and writing, writing e-mails correctly, prepare presentations and other documents as well as helping you familiarize yourself with slang and characteristic expressions used in the daily life.

In April 2023 I certified myself at Oxford House (Barcelona) as a Spanish Teacher and I achieved a calification of "Excelent" in all of the points that were evaluated in order to succesfully pass the certification.

The program included 160 hours of training in which I gave real lessons to students of different ages, countries and occupations. Throughout the certification I was able to acquire the necesary tools to dictate a lesson that incorporates the teaching of vocabulary and grammar through an addecuate sequence of excercises focused on improving oral and written communication.

The methodology that I use, consists of inicially evaluating the level of improvement of the student, get to know their motivations to learn Spanish, and their necesities. Based on this information, I create a personalized working plan according to the requirements and objectives of each student.

I use different tools that include excercises focused on written and oral expression, reading texts, listening to audios and videos in a dinamic atmosphere, with topics that are of interest to the student and that motivate them to learn more.
