I have been studying English my whole life. Alongside my school curriculum I have always taken private lessons to make sure I would reach a level that would allow me to speak English as well as my native language. I passed the CPE last year and I am currently living and studying in London, where I use the English language both in my personal and professional life. I previously taught high school students and helped them prepare for their English exams. I would also help in preparing for English examinations such as IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE as I have done all of them and know the structure, what is important to work on, how to pass the exam and pass along my skills as a non-English taking the examination. My lesson structure varies according to the specific needs of the students, with a few non negotiable priorities which are working on the pronunciation and the grammar which, while often undervalued, are a crucial element to both pass the examination and be able to make a fantastic impression whenever you might need to use the English language, be it in a conversation with your friends or a job interview. While I would propose my lesson plan and structure our classes according to my experience, I would be more than willing to welcome your own suggestions on what you think you need to work on. I always make sure at least 10 or 20 minutes of the class (at least) are dedicated to practising conversational skills.
