I have been teaching for 17 years. I have experience as a Kindergarten, First, and second grade classroom teacher. For the past 5 years I have been teaching as an English Learner Interventionist in Grades K-5. I enjoy teaching students phonics skills to improve their reading and writing. My students and I work together to find easier ways for them to retain information and to continue practicing skills that they will continue to use throughout their education. I currently focus on Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening skills and I administer the English Learner state test in our district. I hope to be able to work with many students and assist in areas that you may be struggling in.
