I am an A Level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I enjoy learning and helping others to learn. I have experience tutoring GCSE students in maths and science and I myself sat my GCSEs only recently so I am well versed in revision techniques and exam technique (which is more important than you might think) and I use this experience to deliver helpful lessons to my students.

I like to go through topics together first (you can tell me which ones you feel you need the most help with) so that you can be sure you have a good grounding in the subject matter and then we can go through some example exam questions so you are used to the style of questions you will see and have good exam technique. I want to make sure you are engaged by the content so will try to have you talk me through some of the explanations first and then I will help you refine your explanations and technique for the best results. I think the most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable to ask questions and tell me if they aren't understanding a topic. If that happens I always make sure to explain the same idea again but with a different slant in order to ensure everyone understands the topic. I am always open to feedback and so if you feel like something isn't working for you then I am happy to adapt what we are doing so that you get the most out of the experience!
