I have a passion for education and love helping people to learn. I have been teaching since 2017 when I first volunteered to teach and renovate schools in Fiji. I am an Irish national, living in Bratislava.

Currently I'm working as a Business and Economics Teacher at British International School Bratislava. This is the best school in Slovakia and is quite a demanding place to teach. I've also taught in Thailand and Taiwan, as well as numerous online platforms.

I will help you achieve your English language goals. I can help you achieve the IELTS grade you need to secure your university place, or I can hep you improve your English ability so you can get that job you want or simplyjust improve your conversation skills. I currently teach highly motivated and determined students in my full-time job therefore I'm used to working in a high achieving environment. I will demand the same level of commitment from my students as the level of commitment I will give you. Be prepared to work hard, if you select me as your tutor!

I charge a high price but I use modern teaching methods and materials. I teach using diffrentiated instruction, meaning that each lesson is tailored specifically to the ability of the student. This ensures that each student is comfortable in the classroom which maximises the ability to learn. I like to facilitate flipped learning classes with high ability students as this is regarded as the best teaching method of today.

If you are outgoing, sporty or artsy you can expect to engage in some kinesthetic lessons (learning through movement). I find these lessons really fun and enjoyable, as it doesn't feel like learning and is completely different to teaching methods used in schools and universities.
