Catalina Solan

Hello! My name is Catalina, and I am a Year 12 student studying: Maths, Further maths. Physics, and Design Technology at A-level, with an essay based EPQ. I achieved in my GCSE examinations, with my 8 A*s being in Maths, English language, English Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, DT, and Computer science, and my one A being in Religious studies. I am an enthusiastic individual, with a passion for learning, and I love helping others.

I have previously tutored two SEN individuals, one on a very frequent basis for the past three years. He is currently in Year 11 studying for his GCSE examinations, and together we practice for his functional skills English, and Maths qualifications. I have tutored one Year 11 in GCSE maths, helping her pass after an extremely difficult start to her maths journey, and one more Year 11 student in iGCSE Chemistry, helping her achieve a grade 9 after being on 6’s and 7’s the whole year!

I would first start with a free, initial session, to get to know each other, and hopefully aim to understand your needs, and what you are struggling the most with. Then, I would aim to create a timetable with you, so we know what we are tackling, and when. Taking things at whatever pace is most suitable for you, ensuring you are comfortable throughout all stages of the process!
