I am a university student studying mathematics who is bilingual and has learnt English as a second language. One of my lessons would be a brief, informal chat in which I would assess the student's level and have them practise their conversational skills. Following that, we'll practise our grammar utilising worksheets and reading. We may also practise creative writing or text analysis, depending on the amount of time left, based on the overall subject at hand. I typically aim to have a broad subject or topic for my lessons that would aid the students in their day-to-day use of English, such as holidays, conversations at the grocery store, technology, or political discussions, etc., all suited to the student's level and comprehension of English. These lessons will take between 1h to 1h 30. To encourage the usage of informal English, I attempt to base my classes on dialogues and discussions. I've been teaching for the past two years. I have been offering maths and economics tutoring for students studying GCSE and A levels. Additionally, I have tutored children, aged 6-10, in English and Romanian at a Saturday school in Bucharest. I am a patient and friendly person who has had experience tutoring before. I hope I am the right choice for you!
