I would relate my lessons to real world. So to aid understanding of concepts I would have mini scenarios. They would take the form Power point presentations and working through examples would be through the use of Excel spreadsheet. Through the medium of Microsoft Teams/Zoom.

I am a Part Qualified Management Accountant by profession and I have worked as a contractor over the last 25 years in a variety of sectors including Commerce & Industry, Local Government, Leisure, Media, Utilities and Professional Services.

I believe that with my varied experience across many industrial sectors as an Accountant, I possess the capability to teach basic maths, arithmetic, book - keeping and accounts and Excel.

I have been exposed to many accounting and database packages and many different processes and procedures in different companies and organizations.

So that I am able to impart to my students different ways of viewing and undertaking tasks. Employers are always looking for employees that are able to problem solve and have see problems and solutions form different angles. This is most highly prized by the hirers in the workplace.

The ability to problem solve and think of solutions outside the box is a piece of armoury that will put a jobseeker in a good place, to win a role over other candidates.

I look forward to meeting my new students and helping them to achieve their goals and to move onto work place or further study. So let us come together and enhance our knowledge and gain more.
