Hiya! I'm Carrie and I currently study Classics and German at the University of Oxford. I will create personalised lessons suited to your particular needs and goals. I aim for my lessons to be relaxed and fun, creating a safe environment in which you feel comfortable to learn.

Having spent part of my childhood in Germany and now studying German at university, I am keen to share my love of the language. I aim to improve your German and your confidence with fun and engaging classes. For German beginners, I usually like to start learning the language through German culture, creating lessons on topics like German festivals or food. Having done both the GCSE and A-Level, I can create lessons to fit the curriculum and focus on any areas you would like to explore further.

I have studied Latin for eight years and now study Classics at university, where Latin and Greek are involved in my everyday work. I currently specialize in the works of Cicero. For beginners, we would start learning the language through important areas of Roman life, such as the baths or the arena. For more advanced learners, I like to start reading Latin literature together in order to soon start discovering what makes Latin such a rewarding subject. If any difficulties pop up, we can tackle them together. I have studied GCSE and A-Level Latin so I can create lessons for your exam content. Together we will improve your Latin and explore the fascinating world of Latin literature.
