I am a friendly, chatty person who likes to keep a good rapport with their students. I can use a variety of different methods, depending on the students capabilities and preferences. For example, if the student works better with visual aids, I can create powerpoint presentations to help and also use clips. Despite working online, I am willing to post out any homeworks or email them over if the student desires it.

I have a bachelors in History and Archaeology, primarily focusing on the history side. I have had experience in secondary schools and during GCSE age, so am aware of quite a few of the different topics covered. If there is a topic I am unsure of, I will always do my research before the lesson so I know what I am talking about to the student. For example, I have led lessons on Medicine Through Time and have done lessons about the China Ming Dynasty too. I am willing to do any particular topic the student wants to learn or revise.

I am also experienced with SEND students from my Teaching Assistant work. I have had experience working with students with additional learning needs and can be patient for those who will need extra time and extra help. In addition, I have experience with those who have sensory needs too.

I am also quite flexible with my work hours. I primarily have set up my schedule for afternoons but depending on circumstances I can change weekend or wednesday hours.
