About me

I have taught for nine years in primary schools and supported the teaching of English for another 18 years. I have also been a tutor for initial teacher training, supporting trainee teachers with the teaching of reading and writing, making it creative and imaginative!

I have taught for nine years in primary schools and supported the teaching of English for another 18 years. I have also been a tutor for initial teacher training, supporting trainee teachers with the teaching of reading and writing, making it creative and imaginative!

My lessons are fun and interactive, tailored to the needs of all students.

I use a range of strategies to engage and help pupils progress, from scaffolding to interactive teaching to formative feedback.
I am passionate about the teaching of reading and writing and love to help students who lack confidence to flourish in English.
