I always feel that the best way to learn a language is to use it! We'll work together on finding the best way for you to learn, focus on the skills you need the most, and dive into the culture of the UK. I'm happy to answer your questions on the English language and the people, and we'll use real sources to read, speak and listen. I love playing games in my classes, as well as making you stop and think instead of rote learning. My students have created presentations, written stories, puzzled over riddles and deciphered song lyrics - in between grammar and vocabulary lessons, of course!

I have five years' experience teaching, from nursery all the way up to adults, which means that I know that none of your questions are silly and everyone has something important to contribute. I also hold a BA in French and an MA in Linguistics, so I know exactly what my students are going through - I've been there myself! I have also taught specialist English classes, including IELTS preparation, Business English and Legal English. I enjoy getting to know my students, laughing and commiserating - we all know that English is hard, but we can definately make it fun too.
