My name is Carolina, I am from Colombia, South America.

Education has been the center of my professional and personal life in different scenarios (national and international). I have been a professor and facilitator of environmental and innovative research projects in the last 10+ years of universities professional experience. During this time, I have learned to do research and to advice students in the development of their research projects. I have advice projects on eco-design, cleaner production, lifecycle assessment, solutions for solid waste, education for sustainability, and circular economy, among others.

I also have worked with school’s projects related with the development of vegetable gardens to learn more about our connection with nature, and other topics such as agroecology, care of water sources, and development of compost.

Adept at teaching courses in Design for sustainability, environmental product dimension -including life cycle design and product life cycle assessment- Sustainable consumption, sustainable lifestyles, and education for sustainability.

I am recognized for excellent active listening and interpersonal skills. I am a cheerful, enthusiastic, and innovative person with a passion for helping others in their learning and in the advice development of research projects.

In my experience as a professor, I have realized that we learn more from what we are passionate about, that makes our learning meaningful.
