My name is Carmen Lucas, I have a PhD and a Degree in TESOL.

Added to that, I have previously worked as EAP Pre-sessional Tutor for Loughborough University, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent International College and Newcastle University (Online), ranging from CEFR levels B1 to C1, to students coming from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. My lessons are engaging. creative and challenging.

Derived from this experience, I own the ability to teach the academic skills of researched essay writing, critical reading and seminar presentation, based on a range of academic texts and lectures, as it is the common practice in UK academia, namely Loughborough University and Newcastle University, as at the University of Nottingham students are required to write a controversy paper
