As a former high achieving student within French at both A-Level and GCSE Standard and being half French myself, I am aware of the difficulties and struggles encountered by all students when trying to tackle the language.
I use my knowledge of said obstacles to help others overcome them with the use of revision strategies and methods that help facilitate breaking down harder components of the exam papers. I take a deep dive into these components respectively, tackling overall comprehension as well as looking at how students can consistently achieve higher marks in the more intricate writing and speaking aspects of exams. This can span from the preparation beforehand, the content and themes themselves, as well as exam techniques that can help compose language students.
With regards to the general speaking, I am open to intermediate and advanced level speakers that are looking to practice their conversational French and gain insight on how contempory French sounds and the expressions used amongst native speakers, overall giving a more authentic feel to the language and a look into the culture.
I have found the use of foreign languages such as French to come in very useful throughout my adult life so far, having used them to converse with many people from diverse backgrounds throughout my work abroad in Europe. It allows me to develop a better understanding and connection with people that would not be possible without this asset.
