Hi, there!

My name is Carina, and I'm a languages teacher. I have a BA in translation with English, German and Portuguese as my main languages of interest.

At this moment, I am mainly offering to tutor English as a Foreign Language. However, if you need help in any of the three languages mentioned above, please reach out to me!

As for my English lessons, here is a short resume of what I have to offer my students:

I have had a wide range of students - from 7 year old children in Basic English to 60 year old adults in Beginner English, and even university students in Advanced English. This wide range of experience allows me to be able to categorize English levels a lot better, and make sure my lessons are personalized to my students' needs.

As a tutor, I prefer to start off with an introductory class so I can get to know my students, their preferences, and their language level. After this assessment, I will devise a plan according to the students' needs and share it with them so we can both follow the progress along.

I believe that languages are easier to learn and practice when we enjoy the content that they bring us. Therefore, I try to go about the class plans with themes of interest to the student at hand so the classes are easier and more enjoyable to follow along.
