For me, the key to teaching a language is creating a supportive, interactive, and learner-centred environment, and I do this from the very first lesson by finding out the personal interests, language goals, and needs of each student. This helps me to create customized lesson materials which are fun and interesting. My students tell me that what sets me apart from other teachers is my passion for my job, the energy and humor I bring to the classroom, and my willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my students achieve not only their learning goals, but also a feeling of personal accomplishment.
