I have 9 years teaching experience, teaching people of all ages in groups and individually. Over the years I have developed my own way of teaching that I tailor to each students learning needs. I am a fun and energetic person which I incorporate into my teaching style.
A lesson of mine involves a structured format with engaging activities. We would start with enjoyable warm-ups and introduce musical concepts in creative ways. The main activities include interactive musical games, exploring instruments, and composing melodies. Students will practice and apply their learning through fun exercises, developing their creativity and individual expression. Technology may be used to enhance the experience, as I have found it harbours great interest from the students. Throughout the lesson, I follow positive reinforcement to encourage students to make mistakes, try new things and hopefully develop their own love for music.
