Candice Borain

I own, manage and work in a tutoring business where I tutor mainly maths and science to students of all ages, in addition to managing 10 other tutors across a variety of academic disciplines. I like to tutor not only because I have the skills and ability to teach and communicate, but because I am very patient, compassionate and I have also learned how to work with and amplify each student’s individual skills, interests and motivations to make learning an enjoyable and beneficial experience.

Tutoring requires work with children of different ages with varying strengths, weaknesses, personalities and interests. My positive attitude and enthusiasm for expanding and helping children grow and learn in all spheres of life enables my students to have a fulfilling experience. I am a creative thinker and I always offer interesting perspectives and new ideas to all problems presented to me. I am able to respond to challenging situations calmly and mindfully I am recognised for always maintaining safe and healthy relationships.
