Because of my passion towards communication, I have always been keen on talking and listening people from different cultures. With this came a big discovery: teaching my native language, which is spanish. I started with kids and teens in the UK and Ireland, and it escalated to young adults, more specifically from 20 to 30 yrs old in the Netherlands, all of this while I was traveling last year.
I have always believed that there's no better way to learn that sit and chat with a native speaker. Thats why my classes are pretty relax and I put all the focus on the speaking and listening aspect. It might take you getting out of your comfort zone, but its 100% worth the shot. Thats how I became fluent in English, not only the grammar, but also the speaking part.
My classes consist of a initial evaluation, so as to know what your needs and wants are, and what kind of study methodolody works better for you. After that, we are going to focus our attention in conversations, listenings and writings (not so often, but enough for you to be able to write properly). However, like I mentioned above, 70% of the focus will be re-directed towards oral speaking, 20% will be focus on the listening part and the remaining 10% will be used to write speech reports. We'll use images every now and then to work on description of places, situations and people. As well as listenings for you to sharp your hearing. It's gonna be a dynamic class, learn a new language doesnt have to be tedious and boring, it can also be fun and a light affair.
