My name is Camille Hyacith Lagleva. You can call me Hya. I am from the Philippines.

I have a varied experience in ESL teaching, and I’ve worked with diverse learners for many years. My background includes planning and delivering lessons to children and adults. I give instructions in General English, Business English, Job Interview Practice, Exam Preparations, among others —all with the aim of helping students achieve their goals.

In my class, I make sure that students feel heard and understood. I teach in a manner that encourages them to speak, try, and excel without the fear of making mistakes. Essentially, I center my attention on the class’ objectives while considering my students’ levels and preferences.

I have been teaching for 16 years now with students from different countries like Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Spain. I teach anything about English as a Second Language. Travel English, English for Exam and Interview Preparation, English for Kids, Conversational, and much more!

I will have my students talk for about 80 percent of my class using high-quality materials. I will also correct their mistakes to record their progress. Not only will we focus on studying but I will ensure the student will also enjoy the class.
