I like to start my lesson with a bit of a warm up exercise;tell your partner about your weekend, review some vocab, play a game.
Next I would introduce the focus of the day eg Present Tense for daily activities using frequency words. I would then find different examples and activities with regards to Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening.
