Firstly, exposure to the language is key! I will try to incorporate as much Spanish speaking as possible and get you more comfortable speaking and listening to the language. It cannot be understated how important it is to get you speaking in Spanish as much as possible, and I make sure that my lessons are a comfortable environment for this, with no pressure on being perfect, in order to improve your conversational skills as much as possible.

Then, depending on which areas you are trying to improve, I will gauge what your strengths and weaknesses are, and use personalised exercises in order to build upon this. I like to also make a note during the lesson of common mistakes that you may be making and how to improve upon these, so that you can take this knowledge and build upon it outside of lesson time.

Finally, I also love to incorporate relevant bits of information, news and media that make the whole experience of learning Spanish more relevant and interesting, so I come equipped with a range of recommendations for various books, shows, music and podcasts to suit your level that can be used to keep you exposed to the language in fun ways and give us something interesting to talk about next time!

The most important thing to remember is that we all respond in different ways to different learning techniques, so it is my job to find these techniques and make learning Spanish as fun possible for you!
