I work with students in a very person-centre way. I offer my first session free of charge so we can get to know each other, and so I can assess your needs and we can decide if we are the right fit. When we agree to work together, we establish a collaborate learning plan based on your academic goals. Holding these goals in mind, we approach each session with an agenda and an idea of what we will be working on that day, whether it be essay development, lesson reviews, editing etc. I am an incredibly open and flexible tutor, and I am always checking in and making sure you feel you are making progress. If you feel we have steered off course, I make sure we get back on track as soon as possible.

I absolutely love tutoring, and I have been tutoring students of all ages for over 5 years now. I started my teaching journey by tutoring newly arrived refugees in the USA and I supported them in learning English. I then transitioned into teaching university subjects to secondary school students in Glasgow, to improve their marks and to help them secure successful admission to the universities of their choice. I then began my own private tutoring where I worked with Masters and Doctorate students in supporting their successful completion of their various programmes. I am a qualified psychologist and have over 4 years of 1:1 therapeutic experience, so I always bring this warm and compassionate stance to all of my tutoring sessions.
