I am a student originally from Essex and am preparing to relocate to Durham as a University student studying for a BA (Hons) in Music. I recently took the International Baccalaureate Diploma qualification predicted 43 points (A*A*A*A equivalent) and studying Biology, Latin and Music at Higher Level, with Chemistry, English and Mathematics at Standard level.
I have always had a passion for teaching, and have spent the last 3 years devoting my time to gaining experience in teaching methods, working alongside top brands including EasyA (in a tutoring and marketing work experience cohort) and with Revishaan LTD (as a GCSE tutor for group classes online). I have practised a number of methods, including embracing the digital advantages, including use of whiteboards, electronic feedback, and more. As such, I am now confident in adjusting my techniques for every student, whether they want to get from a grade 8 to a grade 9, or build their skills from lower grades. Equally, I am able to cater to more visual learners, those who find it difficult with exam technique, and really and other situations you have.
I will go above and beyond not just in our lessons but outside too - I see students and not just lessons, and I'll ensure that if you need any support outside of our session time, I can give you feedback on work, communicate via email, and send resources I have created during my studies. I will always prioritise your development as a student and can't wait to see you reach your full potential in the subject.
