I am a passionate Tutor with almost 8 years of Tutoring experience. I specialize in high school Mathematics but also Mathematics at any level. I enjoy collaborating with the student to help them understand why they are making certain mistakes by first letting them explain to me their understanding of the question and how they would approach it. Thereafter I would help them with gaining a better understanding on how to approach the question from a first principles understanding of why we approach the question as such. I also work on helping building the students trust and confidence in themselves which greatly helps them in the long term. Common mistakes that I generally see is that students don't actually read the question properly or understand what is being asked of them. I also break down the question in terms of making it relatable to certain topics.
