I like to show those who I tutor real-life, authentic material to make learning interesting and engaging. I prefer that the dynamic is casual and based on conversation, as I use prompts and help the student, as this is what has worked for me and been effective when I have tutored people in the past in Spanish. This format will aid you in becoming confident having basic conversations, supplement your current learning and introduce you to some spanish-speaking culture.
I have most experience tutoring beginners, and I am very confident that I can give you a strong start. In the first lesson, you can expect that I ask if you have ANY knowledge of Spanish, and we go from there. At this stage you will also find that I introduce basic phrases that would be of use, such as introductions and descriptions or tips for remembering the more complex elements such as conjugations and pronouncing words.
I'd also love to help support learning Spanish at GCSE/ Low intermediate level, helping you to make sense of anything, and supplementing your Spanish to help you improve, especially in speaking, which often gives learners a lot of grief.
