My approach to life and wellness coaching is collaborative, one-on-one, personalised and conversational. I approach each person from a holistic perspective; working with you and everything that makes up who you are. I make use of my 4 years of university-level education in psychology which enables my coaching to be psychologically informed - using psychological exercises from the positive psychology branch of the field. I have worked with first-year students as a mentor (With professional training) for nearly 2 full academic years and have undergone 120 learning house in both practicing and deepening my counselling skills.

The process I follow is a consultation in which we collaboratively establish what you wish to work on including timeframes (e.g. establishing goals, general wellness improvements, self-discovery). After this initial meeting, I will work on constructing your development plan, personalising the positive psychology exercise/s and present this to you for approval. Once approved we can then set a date and time to put this plan into action and we can perform the exercises. Typically, I will provide some minor homework for you to perform to maintain what was started and a follow up meeting will occur about a month later (depending on your specific requirement for the coaching). The follow-up meeting is to assess the effectiveness of the development plan, to adjust it accordingly as is needed. There will be a final follow-up after a longer timespan to once more assess the effectiveness of the development plan. Should the development plan be effective and we are both happy with the progress, our coaching relationship will end and you continue to follow the development plan.

If after the timeframe to meet the initial goal of the coaching you wish to return to it, we will then begin a new coaching/mentoring session. You are welcome to contact me should you have something new to work on however this will need to be a separate coaching/mentoring session so as to not cause interference with the development plan.
