I tailor lesson plans to individual students based on their needs and learning style to optimise progress. With experience tutoring children and young people with ASD, ADHD and those who use English as a second language, I am able to adapt my teaching methods accordingly to avoid frustration and maximise learning potential.
I approach science teaching by providing a wide net of knowledge surrounding the subject so students have the skills to problem solve and find the answer to any relevant question rather than learning by repeating information, a method I have found particularly effective for neurodivergent children.
