When we meet, I will ask you what way you find best to learn and I will work with you in that manner. If you’re unsure, we can figure this out together.

I will provide the information via PowerPoint. We will go through this together. I will highlight key information which I find important for the student to note.I will keep it short and snappy so you can easily understand as biology can be quite the bulky subject. I will provide access to these PowerPoints so that you can independently learn and take note.

If students prefer visual learning, I will link videos alongside the PowerPoint for better understanding. I will also walk through all of the PowerPoint and provide an in depth understanding.

I like to use interactive techniques. I believe our brains work best when we apply our knowledge. I will provide short quizzes at the end of sessions to test your new knowledge and to see how successful our session has been.

I will use the format of GSCE questions in order to prepare the student for the exam for short answer and long answer.

I will also keep in touch with the student to see whether they are content or whether like to change the learning style. I am here to help you learn.

We can highlight weaknesses in our learning and can revisit lessons until the student is completely comfortable and ready to move forward.
