I like to have a structured class with lots of small activities. I tend to use the same format, using a PowerPoint presentation as my background to support a number of practical activities. This could be debates, games or creative activities. We would begin with a short starter activity, then an introduction to the session including learning aims. We would then move into our first activity of possibly 4, depending on the length of the session. At the end of the class, we would review what we have learnt during the class to ensure retention and identify areas we may need to revisit in the future.
