Caitlin is a kind and approachable tutor that enjoys getting to know her students well, and building a safe space in the 1-1 tuition setting for her students to reach their full potential. Being a native speaker, she is extremely confident in her language skills, but her approach is empathetic with a focus on cultural immersion. She believes in developing the student’s confidence as the key to any learning, a great way to learn is by being immersed in a foreign language's culture. Only then can a pupil successfully absorb knowledge. She is patient, kind and highly enthusiastic.

With a Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages, she has many years of experience in languages. She has taught foreign languages and cultural immersion in many countries such as France, Chile, Argentina and the UK. For a handful of years, she has assisted in A level teaching with a focus on the speaking practice of the language and cultural immersion activities. With 4 years experience in private tuition, she has a multitude of experience in tailoring her tuition style to the tutees’ needs and requirements.Tutoring French and Spanish privately ranging from GCSE, A’Level, University and adult learners (AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and iGCSE) as well as specific requirements such as students sitting the TEF IRN. Caitlin’s aim is to transform student’s language learning with a focus on cultural immersion.
