Every student is different so every class is different. Some people like to understand grammar before they try conversation. Others want to launch straight into the world of tapas and dos cervezas.
Whatever works for you works for me: some students like to try their hand at reading an article from El Pais - this is good for pronunciation and comprehension. Others like to build vocabulary by describing pictures. We can try a variety of techniques and tools and see what works best for you.
