Learning English is fun and interesting for the students/learners if you provide the right dynamics and atmosphere.Getting to know the learner is very important in terms of understanding their approach and mindset to the target language.After that,the learning process starts,and I provide the right method for the learner according to their needs and expectations.
I mostly worked at universities with the teenage and adult groups so far.I am experienced at Reading,Speaking,Listening,Writing and Grammar.I have been teaching and tutoring at all language levels. I give importance to the fluency, not only grammar,because speaking the language fluently and confidently are the most essential things for improving the learners’s motivation.
When they gain their motivation and confidence,they start to be more interested in learning and turns into a fun and improving process for each of us.Having been afraid of making mistakes is one of the major problems I encountered throughout my teaching experience.The more they speak,the less they become worried about speaking the target language.Having been exposed to the language not only during their courses/schools,but also in their daily life,makes a great difference for them.
For that reason,I provide a lot of activities which have the topics that they may encounter in daily life and most importantly they can use in their own life.I try to find the topics that they are mostly interested in ,for instance,the movies/tv series they watch,the books and short stories they read,the lyrics of the songs they listen to,the background information of the places they want to visit.
