I have 3 years experience working as a maths tutor where I have seen my student's grades improve incredibly, with one of my students getting 83% in their end of year exams.
I plan and structure each lesson beforehand using different resources available that is suited to the specific student I'm tutoring. I achieved a 9 at GCSE and a B at A levels.
I tailor my lessons to each of my student’s needs or concerns about certain areas in math. This makes it more engaging, interactive, and fun for my students. I can focus on my student’s weaknesses and work at a suitable pace for my students until they have a full understanding of the topic that they find challenging.
I track their progress to see if improvements have been made and update the parent after each session to let them know how their child is progressing and to let them know about any extra work that has been set.
