Bryn Pearson

Hi!
My name is Bryn, I'm a 3rd year business student at the University of Nottingham.
Having tutored A-Level classes previously in Business Studies and Economics, I have developed a love for teaching and tutoring. I believe that learning should not only be valuable but also engaging as I have found many students benefit from an interactive learning environment in which they can have the valuable discussions and ask the valuable questions that result in embedded learning. This has proven effective in my experience as a tutor in which I was able to improve students' grades from Cs and Ds to A*s and As.

At A-Level I achieved A*AA, (receiving the highest score in my year for Economics) and achieved eight, 9 - 7 grades at GCSE which I believe have fostered the core competencies needed to tutor content at the A-Level and GCSE level.

Outside of academia I have many interests, predominantly, sports such as hockey, rugby, lacrosse and gymnastics (Captaining and coaching the University of Nottingham's Medics Hockey 3rd team). In addition to this I am a very social person who loves making new connections and forming new relationships and would be extremely grateful if you would consider me!
