I love to ask questions, which is weird for a tutor. However, the questions that I ask will lead you to answers and prepare for the real situations that may arise. I enjoy teaching, and will adapt supplemental material to allow for retention. You tell me what you need, and we will get you comfortable with the subject!
I have worked in both an acute care setting at an academic facility caring for step down patients and in an outpatient setting providing hospice care as a case manager for terminal patients. While at the academic center, I chaired a top nursing committee in a shared governance program. I have experience in leadership, bedside care, and symptom management. I have extensive knowledge of nonpharmacologic measures to treat diseases and knowledge of pharmacy. I also am very well trained and love pathophysiology and diagnostic measures. With my experience on the nursing committee, I have experience with shared governance, and can guide perspective nurses and students towards leadership.
I love to teach and to learn, so together we will grow and become better nurses as we meet and study. it doesn't matter what you want help with, we will make you comfortable and competent in that subject. You tell me what you need and how you prefer to learn, I will work on a presentation and/or material for you. Plus, we will continue to work on the subject until we meet your goals!
