Preparation will be immaculately curated and planned out if context for tutoring is given. A variety of teaching methods will be used, specifically with the use of tools to establish a sense of Flow State concenteation and optimised learning.

Whatever the needs of the students are, the presentation carried out during tutoring time will be tailored to them. I try to limit the use of screens, but they are used in proactive instances of learning, such as for powerpoint slides, or annotated text documents.

Tutoring will consist of 2x uninterrupted 20 minute segments of working, focusing, learning and digesting, with 5 minute mental recap breaks, and a final 10 minutes of full recap and summary in order to exercise the link between memory and learning, promoting a stronger ability to learn. I am able to tutor for 3 hours at the very most, and the shortest sessions obviously being just 1 hour, however in some cases I may be able to do full days of tutoring if requested well in advance.

A timetable will be set up with specifically orientated pieces of work to develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter at hand. A list of goals and a summary section will also be provided in order to establish the progress of the student in line with realistic standards we as a collective will set prior to engaging in tutoring.

It is important to know that with regards to the process of progress, I will need to evaluate what type of learner the student is to provide adequate adjustments in order to execute the optimal form of teaching and learning methods. The immediacy of progress therefore lies completely within the cooperation of myself, the parents and the student to communicate any frustrations or potential adjustments to teaching and learning methods/styles.
