About me:
I am an A-level student at the Thomas Hardye School and I achieved Grade 9 in Mathematics at GCSE. I am logical, down-to-earth and patient, allowing me to teach at all levels.
I have a lot of experience teaching, including running the school's Programming and Robotics club. Here I teach students to program at all levels, with 50% of last year's students successfully awarded the prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship, showing the effectiveness of my teaching.
Along with this, I have taught Mathematics to classmates, and sailing, when volunteering at Andrew Simpsons Sailing Academy.
About the lesson:
I teach in a methodical way and explain the principles so that students can gain an understanding of Mathematics. My lesson structure is flexible, and tailored to the students learning style. A typical lesson may involve working together through past papers, developing confidence in how to approach each question. I will ensure that every step of the process is thoroughly understood.
A lesson is 50 mins, aimed at all students studying Mathematics at GCSE (at any level).
